12 slices Hungarian salami, skin removed
2/3 cup cream cheese
2 tbsp chives, chopped
2 tbsp parsley, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and freshly ground black pepper
Description & Method:
Press the salami slices into shallow cake tins. Bake them in a 200C oven until they start to bubble-about five minutes. Then remove and cool. Combine the rest of the ingredients and place a spoonful of mixture into each shell.
Serving Suggestion: while we have given you a simple option above, other ingredients like diced semi dried tomatoes or olives are also great additions.
Recipe Tip: Make these shells ahead and store them in an air tight container for at least 24 hours ahead of time.
